EL PORTEÑO
About
We are
"quelli del Porto"
In the 1940s, Argentina embodied the dream of a fresh start for countless people, drawn to Buenos Aires, a city of opportunities and the vibrant heart of the “Porteños” culture: those who lived near the port, known for their warm and welcoming spirit. This spirit lives on today, enriched with new meanings thanks to the vision and creativity of Fabio Acampora and the brothers Sebastian and Alejandro Bernardez, who brought El Porteño to life. With ingenuity and passion, the three partners transformed a concept into a true brand, evocative of authentic flavors and distant atmospheres, synonymous with tango, the bandoneón, and the most genuine Argentine experience
The origins
Each El Porteño restaurant is designed to showcase a different facet of Argentina, providing unique experiences that embrace its culture in distinctive ways. El Porteño Arena and Darsena bring the Argentine culinary tradition to Milan, while El Porteño Prohibido was created to celebrate the art of tango with live performances, fostering a vibrant and immersive atmosphere.
New influences
El Porteño Gourmet seeks to connect two geographically distant cuisines that have historically shaped each other. The inaugural restaurant of Rome, El Porteño Teatro Valle, was created to introduce Argentine culinary traditions to the capital. Subsequently, El Porteño Gourmet sets itself apart by experimenting with recipes that fuse Roman and Argentine influences
L'arrivo a Porto Cervo
Last but not least, El Porteño Porto Cervo, which opened this summer, fits perfectly into the exclusive landscape of Costa Smeralda, bringing the true Argentine spirit to a setting of luxury and beauty. Each venue is designed with its own unique style, yet they all share a common goal: to bring the authentic Argentine spirit to Italy by blending elegance, tradition, and culinary innovation.
